A structured three-level speaking course that helps young learners move from supported language practice to more confident spoken communication.

Course Overview

Recommended for

Young learners aged approximately 5–7
Reference level: Pre-A1–A1+
Learners beginning to build confidence in listening and speaking
Learners who need structured vocabulary, sentence patterns and guided speaking practice
Learners who benefit from clear models, repetition and visual support

Main Learning Focus

Understanding and responding in familiar situations
Building useful topic-based vocabulary
Speaking in increasingly complete sentences
Pronunciation, rhythm, stress and intonation
Guided and personalised speaking
Short interactive tasks and supported presentations

LLT Placement Guidance

Choose the level by ability—not age alone.

Placement in Levels 1–3 should consider listening comprehension, familiar vocabulary, response to questions, sentence production, pronunciation, speaking confidence and previous English-learning experience.

Level 1Pre-A1

Needs extensive modelling, repetition and support.

Level 2A1

Responds to familiar questions but needs help extending answers.

Level 3A1–A1+

Ready for short connected responses and supported presentations.
